Directors for 2001-2002
Members have taken the CPBA Pledge and are committed to promoting Christian values in business, encouraging principles of good stewardship, sharing ideas and participating in educational programs, mentoring, and community leadership. The Association extends its deepest thanks and appreciation to Pat Johnson of Your Secretary, and Shelly Schmidt of Creative Memories who resigned from the Board so that fresh ideas and new approaches to the Association's objectives could be obtained. And Steve Schultz of Financial Independence who resigned in order to devote more time to his Pastoral duties in the Englewood Congregation of the Community of Christ.
Edward Glaser
As Chairman of the Board and principal in E.A. Glaser, Inc., a management consulting firm providing mentoring for start-up businesses, Ed brings energy and direction to CPBA programs. Currently Ed is involved in a student exchange program for youth in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, and contributes to the CPBA Education Committee.
Richard Neill
Rich is currently the Principal at the Center Place Restoration School located in Independence. Rich has been effective in raising monies for the CPBA Scholarship Fund as well as administering the essay contest for the CPBA Education Committee. Rich has a background in sales and marketing for the Dole Food Company.
Richard Oberg
Richard arrived in October 1999 and considers himself a "new comer" still. Oberg Enterprises developes web sites, including two for CPBA and hosts same on World Wide Web Pages Unlimited
Susan Bass
Elected Treasurer. Susan recently expanded her Canine Specialty Training services into international markets in the Middle East. She also has a prison ministry in Missouri and neighboring states.
Gary Metzger
Gary was elected Secretary and has served as CPBA Treasurer for two years previous. His Spanish Services provides both translation and interpreter skills with an specialty in Central American dialects. Gary has served as a missionary in Belize and Honduras, and is always ready of offer intercessory prayer and prayers of praise.
